Day 1 – Kolkata to Sundarbans | Village Visit & Cultural Evening

Travel from Kolkata to Godkhali and continue by boat through the scenic waterways of the Sundarbans. Visit Gosaba, the region’s main island market, before reaching your resort in Sonagaon for lunch. It is used as the head office of the forest department, and you need permission to enter the tower. The tower holds 20 people and provides a view of the Bono Bini Temple, the Mangrove Interpretation Center, and the Tourist Lodge. Bird watchers will get to see Pelicans, Kingfishers, and Sea Eagles.

Sudhanyakhali Watch Tower: This tower is known for the sightings of tigers, and it can hold 25 people. The sweet water pond in the back draws tigers, crocodiles, wild boars, and Axis Deer. The grassland around it is ideal for observing wildlife.
