Advance Payment
For all services booked through SunderbanNationalPark.com, an advance payment is required to confirm your reservation. The remaining balance can be paid before your departure from your country or upon arrival in India, but strictly before the commencement of the tour or service.
The management reserves the right to determine the advance payment amount depending on the type of service, booking conditions, and time remaining before the tour start date.
For certain services such as Special Train Journeys, or hotel and resort bookings during peak seasons (Christmas, New Year, Durga Puja, Diwali, etc.), full payment in advance may be required.
Mode of Payment
International clients can make advance payments via Wire Transfer directly to our official bank account. Bank details will be provided upon confirmation of the booking.
Cancellation Policy
In case of cancellation of your booked tour or travel services due to any reason—avoidable or unavoidable—you must inform us in writing. Cancellation charges will be applicable from the date we receive your written notice.

Note:
- Written cancellation requests are accepted only on working days (Monday to Saturday). Requests received on Sunday will be considered the next working day.
- For festive seasons like Durga Puja, Navaratri, Diwali, Christmas, and New Year (20th Dec – 5th Jan), all payments are non-refundable.
- If you cancel the tour after it has started, refunds (if any) will depend on recoverable costs from hotels, transporters, or contractors.
- No refunds will be made for unused hotel stays, transport, or missed meals.
Wildlife Safari Cancellation
All wildlife safari bookings inside Indian national parks and sanctuaries (including Sundarban National Park) are non-refundable.
Even date-change requests will be treated as a cancellation, and no refund or adjustment will be issued.
Liabilities & Limitations
- After finalizing your tour/service cost, if there is any increase in taxes, fuel, guide charges, or monument entry fees imposed by the Government of India, the difference will be charged extra.
- SunderbanNationalPark.com acts solely as an agent for hotels, transporters, airlines, railways, and other contractors. All vouchers, tickets, and contracts issued are subject to the terms and conditions of those providers.
- All itineraries are sample itineraries, meant to give an idea of the likely tour schedule. Unforeseen factors such as weather, road conditions, or participant health may require changes for safety and comfort.
- Rates are based on the current tariffs negotiated with hotels and service providers. Any changes in those rates may result in revised tour prices.
- Hotel check-in and check-out times are as per hotel policy unless stated otherwise.
We are not responsible for any delays, changes, or expenses due to natural calamities, flight cancellations, breakdowns, political unrest, accidents, or other unforeseen circumstances beyond our control.
Disclaimer
We shall not be liable for any loss, injury, or damage to person or property caused directly or indirectly by any act of nature, accident, fire, theft, breakdown, strikes, riots, epidemics, wars, or any other events beyond our control.
Travelers are advised to purchase travel insurance in their home country to cover expenses related to accidents, illness, loss, or theft. All personal belongings are carried at the traveler’s own risk.
Governing Law
These Terms of Service and all related agreements are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, under the jurisdiction of Kolkata, West Bengal.
Passports & Visas
All international travelers (except citizens of Nepal and Bhutan) must possess a valid passport (minimum 6 months validity) and a valid Indian Visa to enter India.
Processing of passports and visas is not included in our tour cost.
Health Policy
Any traveler suffering from a contagious disease is prohibited from participating in tours. If discovered during the tour, the guest will be required to discontinue the trip and arrange their own return at their own expense.
Important Note
SunderbanNationalPark.com will not be responsible for any additional expenses or losses arising from unforeseen circumstances such as landslides, floods, flight delays, road blockages, or other natural calamities.
