How to Reach:

By Train: Kolkata → Canning → Godhkhali → ferry → Gosaba → auto/van to Pakhirala.
By Road: Via Baruipur-Canning (~4 hrs) or Basanti Highway (lighter traffic).

Famous For: Royal Bengal Tigers, estuarine crocodiles, Gangetic dolphins, Olive Ridley turtles, diverse bird species, and mangrove forests. Houseboats and fresh seafood enhance the experience.

Tiger Population & Sightings: ~200 tigers live in Sundarbans. Tiger sightings are possible but not guaranteed due to dense mangroves and their elusive nature.

Identity Proof: Indian citizens need a photo ID; foreigners require a passport with a valid Indian visa. Permits handled by us.

Clothing: Light clothes for summer; warm clothes in winter due to chill.
