Welcome to Sunderban National Park

Sundarban National Park in West Bengal is a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its vast, intricate mangrove forests and rich biodiversity. Stretching across 40,000 sq. km between India and Bangladesh, it houses the elusive Bengal tiger, saltwater crocodiles, and a vibrant variety of bird species like the brahminy kite and whistling teal. Mangrove trees, especially the distinctive Sundari with its upward-growing roots, thrive here, adapting to tidal changes. Tourists on boat rides explore the winding creeks, always under the silent watch of the forest’s iconic wildlife.
